This publication of Modernist Photography includes works by Ilse Bing, Ansel Adams, Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, André Kertész, Dorothea Lange, Lázló Moholy-Nagy, Man Ray and many others.

The circular cut out on the bright red cover jacket allows an intriguing crop of Man Ray’s Glass Tears (1932) revealing the full work on the book case. The back cover circle features a cheeky crop of Ferenc Csík’s Diver (1936).

The design is inspired by Bauhaus Typography and Russian constructivist Graphic art. The title becomes a wall art pattern and small architectural elements are used throughout to support the page navigation and overall identity.
