Bright, bright day
Andrey Tarkovsky
White Space Gallery
It is said that the Russian avant-garde film maker Andrei Tarkovsky took his location shots with his Polaroid camera, gifted to him by Antonioni.
This is the first publication of a selection of these Polaroids edited by his son Andrey and paired with a prelude of archival photographs of Andrei’s (senior) childhood printed in duo-tone.
The cover is a gold foil reproduction of Andrei Tarkovsky’s coloured pencil drawing of his beloved dog Dakus.
